At the Rotary Club of Zimbali, we believe that service is at the heart of everything we do. Our strength lies in the dedication and generosity of our members, each bringing their unique passion and commitment to making a difference. We are thrilled to introduce our newest members, Siva and Prema, a couple whose values and service-driven mindset perfectly align with the Rotary spirit.
Siva and Prema relocated to the North Coast in 2019, trading their large family home for a cozy, peaceful retreat in Ballito. Having spent decades balancing careers and family life, they decided it was time to embrace a more relaxed retirement. However, their passion for helping others has never wavered. With a deep-rooted commitment to charity and community service, they have long supported feeding schemes and various initiatives aimed at uplifting the less fortunate.
For them, the motto “Do the best we can to help and uplift others that are in unfortunate situations now rather than later” has been a guiding principle in their lives. Their search for a structured, impactful way to give back led them straight to Rotary—a global network dedicated to service, leadership, and community impact.
Siva brings with him a wealth of experience from the corporate banking sector, where he dedicated 35 years to finance and business strategy. Having retired recently, he now enjoys a well-earned break while still seeking ways to contribute meaningfully to the world around him.
Prema, on the other hand, left corporate banking in 2011 to explore a more personal passion—natural health and wellness. She has since built a career around natural supplements for gut health, helping others achieve a balanced, healthier lifestyle.
Beyond their dedication to service, Siva and Prema embrace a well-rounded, active lifestyle.
What drew them to Rotary was the realization that a global network of service-minded individuals was operating right on their doorstep, making a real difference. They are excited to be part of an organization that is transforming lives both locally and internationally and look forward to working alongside like-minded individuals to create lasting change.
As we welcome Siva and Prema to our Rotary family, we celebrate the passion, experience, and kindness they bring to our club. We are confident that their contributions will make a significant impact, and we look forward to many meaningful projects, inspiring conversations, and shared moments of service in the years to come.
